How to make brooding briquettes using 3 ingredients only|Off Grid living

These briquettes are a cheap alternative to ordinary charcoal /makaa .They provide a source of heat that lasts upto 3 times longer compared to ordinary charcoal/makaa, tinder and kindling.
The briquettes come in handy when cooking, homesteading, brooding chickens. For brooding, they are used in tandem with brooding pots in Africa,Kenya.

This particular diy recipe I am showing you uses only 3 ingredients that are readily available in most homesteads. Charcoal dust,water and a binder. There are different variants of charcoal for making briquettes but the best is from hardwood. There are however people who make them from dry plants that char and that are combustible. Still works.
The binder is a solution that comprises a mixture of water and different sources of starch . For example corn flour,cassava flour..I personally use wheat flour. Hope You like this day recipe that's an alternative to charcoal and very inexpensive to make.Off grid living in kenya
