Sounds of the 90's: Pizzicato Hit // Like Faithless - featuring the Roland JV 1080

I recently got the classic Rompler Roland JV-1080 and browsing the presets I found a classic sound that brought back memories of edm in the 90’s. Of course I’m talking about the Pizzicato Hit sound - aka Pizz Hit preset famously used Faithless and others.
I dig a little into when it was used and who copied them to make that sound popular (at least in the later years of the 90’s

I tried recreating the sound of Insomnia by Faithless for fun!
Eventually I’ll have a video reviewing the JV-1080 but have an overview in this video!
