Harry and Meghan ‘don’t want' the responsibility which 'comes with their privilege’

Liberal Senator Eric Abetz says the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle interview with Oprah Winfrey saw two people in a position of “huge privilege” not wanting to take on the responsibilities which come with it.

During the explosive interview, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a series of bombshell claims about the Royal family.

“At the end of the day, just because you’ve got a Meghan Markle as part of the - very extended now - Royal family saying that it’s now no longer relevant, (it) is a bit like saying that because the Labor Party’s got a couple of bad eggs in it we ought to throw out the Labor party," Mr Abetz told Sky News host Sharri Markson.
