Safe and low-stress handling technique I developed for medical emergencies in spiders
I recently explained this method to the owner of an OBT with impaction (usually deadly for tarantulas) on social media and through it, he was able to safe the life of his spider! So I thought making a video of it could help other spiders, too. The reason I don't show how I get the spider in and out of the plastic bag is that I don't want it to be abused for fool-proof but fear-based rehousings. I recommend it for emergencies only. Of course you can use gloves if you are insecure, but please be extra careful then not to squeeze parts of the spider!
