Dr. Yuka Ozaki will explore the root cause of “the reason why we fail to control ourselves” and introduce five simple rules – that can be easily incorporated into our daily life – to find out “how we can practice better self-control”.

Dr. Yuka Ozaki is a professor at Toyo University. She specializes in social psychology and has been mainly researching self-control. Her work “自制心の足りないあなたへ：セルフコントロールの心理学 (For you who lack self-control: the psychology of self-control)” published in 2020 received The Japanese Society of Social Psychology's Publication Award.
