HOMENAJE A VICTOR JARA en LA RED. TRIBUTE TO VICTOR JARA on THE NET

LA RED y su Programa MENTIRA VERDADERAS tienen como invitados a los músicos de QUILAPAYUN e INTI ILLIMANI quienes rinden homenaje a Victor Jara y hacen recuerdos de su trabajo con Victor Jara en lo que fuera el inicio de sus carreras artísticas.

En una de las anécdotas cuentan y confirman aquello que relatara Patricio Guzmán , el Documentalista , en cuanto a que Victor Jara acostumbraba asistir a las Conferencias que en los años 60 y comienzos de los 70 del siglo pasado se efectuaban en Chile Film y las Universidades , Charlas que Guzmán daba sobre Cine Documental y en ellas Victor se sentaba en las últimas filas de la Sala en completo y respetuoso silencio , algo que en La Habana nos había relatado el Cineasta Raúl Rodriguez que también conoció a Victor en Chile Film en 1971-72 , y el recordaba la actitud de Victor Jara , quién ya era un Director de Teatro y cantante ampliamente conocido pero que en los encuentros de esos profesionales siempre se mostró con una humildad admirable.

Se recuerda también y se destaca la importancia de Patricio Manns para la Cultura Chilena y se menciona el hecho que a Pato Manns aún no se le haya reconocido con un Premio Nacional su aporte a la Cultura Chilena.

The importance of Patricio Manns for Chilean Culture is also remembered and highlighted and the fact that Pato Manns has not yet been recognized with a National Award for his contribution to Chilean Culture is mentioned.
