A brief History of Debt
I edited this video together using excerpts from the 2008 PBS documentary entitled I.O.U.S.A. It paints a broad picture of the many problems facing the US economy. I felt that these particular clips cut the the core of what the documentary was trying to convey. To fully appreciate the scope of the economic situation, clearly, one must do more research; including watching the entirety of the documentary from where these clips were obtained. However, I felt that it was important to reach out to those individuals who do not typically find themselves dedicating an hour and a half to watching videos about the economy. Hopefully this short video will help better inform those individuals so that they might find the urgency to seek out more of their own answers. I would like to thank PBS for their wonderful and inspiring work, and you the viewers for watching.
