Galloping River Horses

While out on a boating safari, our guests were treated to this pod of majestic hippos gallop towards the Luangwa River, diving into its shimmering waters of the Luangwa River with boundless energy and grace.

In the South Luangwa National Park, hippos rule the waterways. These magnificent creatures spend their days submerged in the river, emerging at dusk to graze on lush grasslands. Their imposing presence and unique behaviors make them an iconic symbol of this breathtaking African wilderness.
