How To Make Delicate Bead Cluster Hoop Earrings

Make a pair of delicate bead cluster hoop earrings using just wire and beads. We'll show you how to wrap the hoops with wire and add the pearls and crystals to make a cluster of beads. These are gorgeous and they are easy to make!

How Make These Delicate Bead Cluster Hoop Earrings
Materials
Fresh water pearls, 2mm-3mm ► https://amzn.to/3dVsBAX

26-gauge gold beading wire ► https://amzn.to/2TidZnw
2 Gold earring hoops, 30-35mm diameter ► https://amzn.to/2Zi9ltk

Round-nose pliers ► https://amzn.to/2zQPAya

Steps
1. Cut a piece of the 26-gauge wire about 10" long. Hold the end of the wire against the wire hoop. Keep the wire in place with your thumb and finger, then take the end of the wire with your other hand and pull it around to wrap the hoop once. Repeat to pull the wire around the hoop six times.
2. Slide three of the crystal beads onto the wire. Slide the beads down to the wraps on the earring hoop, then wrap the wire and beads around the hoop one time.
3. Next, wrap the wire around one more time after the last bead. Slide three more beads onto the wire. Wrap the beaded wire around the hoop. Then wrap the wire around one more time.
4. Continue adding beads and wrapping the wire around the hoop until you have six sets of three beads per set wrapped around the hoop.
5. Finish by wrapping the end of the wire around the hoop six times. Push the wire wraps together. Then trim the end of the wire with your wire cutters.
6. To turn the earring hoop into a closed hoop, grasp the straight end with the round-nose pliers and twist to make an open loop or hook shape. Open the loop on the other end slightly using the round-nose pliers. Hook the two ends together. Then close each loop using the round-nose pliers.
7. Slide the fish hook earring wire through one of the loops. Then press the earring hook closed with the pliers. Repeat to make a second earring.
