aaa, I recently got a new Alan Price Set CD (The House That Jack Built: The Complete 60’s Sessions), and it features a whole bunch of unreleased BBC recordings of the Set. This one is a personal favorite of mine, not only because I really like the original song, but the instrumentation from the Set here, as well as Alan’s voice, all sound wonderful; they truly do this song justice. Honestly, this and that “The Price Of Fame” performance Alan does of “Walk On By” might be my favorite non-album covers Alan has ever done. 🙏 I’ve been listening to it non-stop all week…

Also, lowkey expecting the BBC to potentially strike this down, but it’ll be a worthy sacrifice. Haven’t seen an upload of this yet, nor some of those other covers he did… maybe I’ll upload those sometime…
