A piece of bad news... but there's a happy ending

It's with a heavy heart that I tell you - Dot passed away over the weekend while I was away at the Art of the Cowgirl in Phoenix, AZ.

Mr. FFB found her curled up in her tub in the kennel Saturday night. It was too late, and we're not one hundred percent sure what happened. My heart is broken. I've cried lots of tears, some of them ugly. And I miss Dot like you can't believe.

But I wholeheartedly believe the words of my dear friend, Caitlin. She says, "we can still choose joy while acknowledging hurt." So, this video is not all sadness. There is a happy surprise at the end.
