Special Guests join Andy Brown's solo guitar gig at the Green Mill in Chicago 2021-2023

I'm fortunate to perform weekly at one of my favorite jazz clubs in the world, Chicago's Green Mill. I play solo every Thursday behind the ancient bar, taking requests and trying to make the music happen on my own. It's always a treat when fellow musicians show up to listen and hang. It's even better when I can get them up with to join in the fun!

This video is a compilation of footage from many such enjoyable evenings, filmed between 2021 and 2023. A lot of the cuts are from 2021, when musicians and audiences were just returning to the jazz clubs after a period of isolation during the pandemic. The joyous spirit of people coming together that was a hallmark of that period is captured nicely on these cuts. This footage comes mostly from the camera of my friend (and Thursday Mill regular) Ivy Glennon. The first cut was filmed by my friend T.W. Li.
