Dr. David Brakke, professor of Early Christian History at The Ohio State University, tells us about the early, exotic , and fascinating form of Christianity known as Gnosticism and how he came to be interested in it. He explains why some scholars don’t want to use the terms “Gnostics” or “Gnosticism” any longer but provides useful examples of its application and answer’s Zindler’s question, “Why should Atheists know about Gnosticism?”
