What is divine love vs personal love? We all have a desire to experience love in a personal way, and yet it is not the people or form love takes that satisfies our longing. It is our inner experience stimulated by the energy of love. The more we can forget ourselves in service to others, the more we can understand what God's love is. This liberates us from the constant concern, "what about me?" It is not we who are creating the energy or love that flows through us, but rather we master ourselves so we can get out of the way to channel God's love.
