Paxton's Restaurant Loveland, OH

Do you know why Paxton's Grille is called Paxton's? During the Revolutionary War, Paxton served as Lt. Colonel of the Second Battalion of the Bedford County Militia. He came to Loveland and is acknowledged for being the first to build a log cabin in the area. He died in 1813 and was buried in the family graveyard on the farm where he built his first cabin. Paxton's is named in his honor. Paxton's now is one of the best spots in town for a great meal and people watching.
