11th Armored Cavalry Regiment Vietnam

I served with H-Co, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment in Vietnam from July 1967 to July 1968. I drove tank H-66, which was the Captain’s tank.
We had M-48 Patton tanks, which carried a 90mm main gun along with a .50 cal. and .30 cal. machine guns. There were three tank companies in the Regiment and each company had 17 tanks.
