Tesla Stock Price Up While Option Value Down Why? 2020 (A145)

Tesla Stock Price was up this week while the option value was down dramatically. As a result many lost money and said it was likely manipulation by market makers which seemed possible. The reality is that implied volatility was a killer on the value of the options. Tesla did move but not in the way many expected it do so.
