DIY Test Fuel Pressure on cars without Schrader valves: '06 Toyota Matrix Corolla & '13 Sienna shown
This video shows how to use a $5 connector to test for fuel pressure on newer vehicles that use Quick Disconnect fuel fittings. Many Asian vehicles do not have Schrader valves, but there is a simple way to construct a tee and tap into these systems. A 2006 Toyota Matrix Corolla and 2013 Toyota Sienna are shown as examples in this video.
Here's a fully DIY video for replacing the fuel pump module in the 2013 Sienna:

00:43 Connector to buy (about $5) in size 7.89/7.95mm (SAE 5/16" version)
03:38 Types of connectors
05:22 Fuel Pressure Test Kit rental from Autozone (#27167)
08:13 Making the gauge tee on the bench
11:52 Example 1: Testing a 2006 Matrix Corolla fuel system
12:51 Depressurizing the fuel system (not required, but makes the job less messy)
14:56 Disconnecting fuel line in engine bay
16:06 Installing the gauge tee
17:36 The gauge tee and gauge are in place
17:57 Start the engine (normal fuel pressure is 44 - 50 psi)
19:31 Removing the gauge
22:03 Reconnecting the fuel line connectors
23:23 Example 2: Testing a 2013 Sienna fuel system
24:08 Installing the gauge tee (underside fuel line)
26:13 Start the engine (abnormal fuel pressure -- too high at 60 psi)
Thanks for watching and good luck with your repair!
