1967 RAW CA GARAGE PSYCH Bleu Forest "A Woodland Spring"Teenage Shutdown Ichiban Live At Jimmie's

One of my favorite not-for-long eras in music is when the rough-and-tumble garage kids discovered mind-expanding drugs. You still got the oomph, devotion to songs, and a grab bag of more offbeat and experimental approaches. This band recorded this song in August of 1967, smack dab in the middle of this shift. They'd just played their very first paid show, and so impressed a couple folks that they had them come back in at 10 AM to record this in extreme heat. 2 mics, all first take. Raw the way I like it! There is also another album, which contains some of the same songs, recorded in 1968, but alas, just as major labels came in with offers, 2 members got drafted and skidaddled to Canada, eh, so nothing was released until after Y2K.

Love the LOUD amps, the rampaging bass, the jams that always come right back to the song, and the fact that all these originals are REALLY GOOD! The entire album was up as a whole already, but I wanted to extract 4 songs so they can be played individually.
