ThinkPad Cleaning Using Danner Boot Dressing

In this short video, I experiment using Danner Black Boot Dressing to restore a lid on a ThinkPad T42 that has seen much better days. To be clear, this technique works best on the older style of paints. The T4xx era and onward use a slightly different method and the results aren't as good and/or recommended, at least until further testing is done.

Be sure once you've applied it, remove any excess with a clean cloth.

Other substances that people have tried in the past included Dubbin and face creams. @panoramacircle3281 has done some very comprehensive videos on different restoration techniques as well.
