The Hunter Family - a story of Younger-Onset Alzheimer's
Too often Alzheimer's disease is associated with older adults, but the truth is, Alzheimer's also affects younger adults; this is referred to as Younger-Onset Alzheimer's (when symptoms are evident before age 65). Here's the story of the Hunter family. Chris, the father and husband, was diagnosed at age 46. Today, at 50, he is a resident at a memory care community and requires 24/7 care.
