"Kaliveenayude koottukaran" (COMRADE OF KALIVEENA) is a short documentary based on the handicraft master Shajahan, who makes and plays kaliveena(toy violin).The ear pleasing tunes shajahan plays on his kaliveena are the specialities of this docufiction.For the past 58 years shajahan is a constant presence around the famous padmanabha swami temple in ananthapuri(trivandrum).This documentary brings out the cruel truth that the art of making and playing kaliveena will die down after shajahan's life time...

കളിവീണയുടെ കൂട്ടുകാരൻ "ഷാജഹാൻ" ഇന്ന്ജീവിച്ചിരിപ്പില്ല.... വേണ്ടത്ര അംഗീകാരം ലഭിക്കാതെ മൺമറഞ്ഞ് പോയ കലാകാരൻ.
കുറച്ച് കാലം മുൻപാണ് ഈ രേഖാചിത്രം നിർമിക്കുന്നത്,ഒരിക്കൽ പദ്മനാഭ സ്വാമി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിനു മുൻപിൽ മധുരമുള്ള വീണാഗാനം കേട്ടാണ് ഞങ്ങൾ ശ്രെദ്ധിക്കുന്നത്..പിന്നീട് അദ്ദേഹത്തിനൊപ്പം കുറച്ചു ദിവസങ്ങൾ..പതിയെ ഞാനും എന്റെ സുഹൃത്തും ഓരോന്നായി പകർത്തി..ഇന്ന് ഇവിടെ ഇത് വീണ്ടും കൂട്ടിച്ചേർക്കുന്നു...
