"Family Night" at Irwindale featuring the three generations of Gilliland race car drivers. David Gilliland had always wanted his son Todd to compete at Irwindale Speedway but was afraid it would never happen after the 2012 track bankruptcy. Irwindale re-opened in 2013 and once Todd was able to start racing short track stock cars David's idea to race against his son had no better of a place to race than Irwindale Speedway. Not long after the idea of racing with his son, Grandpa Butch Gilliland was asked by David to participate. The answer was yes and this special "Gilliland Family Feud" race was created!
