FORMAT RESPONSE DATA In ASP NET Core | Getting Started With ASP.NET Core Series

Hey Friends, -Depending on your application or client the data from your API endpoints might need to be returned in different formats - most commonly JSON or XML or sometimes even custom data formats. ASP NET Core MVC does support formatting response data in various formats.

This video lets deep dive into formatting response data in ASP NET Core, how it works, what are the defaults, how you can modify and extend them.

We will learn how the default return is formatted into JSON, how to override settings of the default formatted, how to add in XML support. I will also show you how Content Negotiation works and show examples of that in action.
