Anyway, it would be amazing if you could vote for me. There’s no physical prize, but it’d be cool to win a shiny title for some girl power over the last year.

Also, I know it’s been a while since I actually shared a vlog. We have BEEN away in it, but it’s been more for family gatherings and to be honest, I've got such a backlog of videos, I fancied a filming break.

Anyway, this weekend was much cooler than the last week and we headed for the best sun we could find and ended up at Mersea Island.

We’ve been around peninsulas nearby, but never here and it was a brilliant weekend! The weather was just right – 22 degrees, a bit of breeze and almost raining, (but thankfully it only started properly on the way home). And it was perfect for a big dog walk.

The campsite we stayed at was called Seaview Campsite. It was £26 a night with electric for late June. We found it was a little bit dearer than we hoped for, but we really didn’t want to keep driving anymore and it has immediate access to the beach.

The ladies’ showers could be better for security reasons as I couldn’t keep my belongings with me in the shower otherwise they'd get satched, but no one else was in there. It’s just something to bear in mind and they were quite dated, with a bit of a trek, but the showers were powerful:
