Former BBC Top Gear, Wheeler Dealer, The Garage and Car SOS director Jamie Langton created the now cult 'Legend' series of classic car documentaries. Each film tells the story of famous and iconic vehicles and this one is the story of one of Fords most iconic cars, the Capri, told through the eyes of owners who all share the same passion for their cars. Also included are key people who've helped put Capri on the map. AuthorJeremy Walton fills in all the gaps on the cars racing pedigree while former Ford communication executives Paul Harrison, Tom Malcolm and Steve Saxty (who's also written several books on the car) give an insight into how the Capri developed and finally came to an end within Ford. Exclusively to this film we also hear direct from Fords SVE Team led by Rod Mansfield on how he and his team helped keep the car in production longer by 'injecting' new life into one of Britain's popular coupe's. Available originally as a DVD, the title sold worldwide and set the style for future supercar mega factory TV shows.
