Geelong Port has welcomed its inaugural shipment of the world's largest wind turbine blades, destined for use in regional Victoria.

This marks a significant milestone in delivering a $3 billion project that will be constructed in two phases.

The project is projected to meet 9 per cent of Victoria's electricity demand.

The arrival of these colossal blades signals a step towards achieving Victoria's clean energy goals and reducing its carbon footprint.

Highlights the region's commitment to sustainable energy solutions.
