In a video announcing his plans to run for re-election, Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) invoked President Trump's "Make America Great Again" slogan, and said he would take on the "socialists" and "nutjobs" in Washington, D.C., in an apparent effort to frame his Democratic opposition as far-left.
