Shhhh….Don’t Tell Anyone About This Place!

I had a random Sunday morning and found myself on a very crowded Toden Arakawa Line aka the Sakura Tram. But, at Koshinzuka Station, this special shop sits right on the platform and everyone walked right past it. Run by the same family for three generations, they play US country music, serve simple food like yaki soba and ohagi. Ohagi is like an inside out mochi. The filling is on the outside and the rice is on the inside. I love sitting there and watching the tram come and go. But seriously, don’t tell anyone. I would hate to see lines of people waiting to get it. I want it to be my special place.
