I just really love his character, mainly for the problems that arose when I was making this video. In the series, many episodes gave Sokka's character very little to do and focused scenes of just him where difficult to find. He was often made the comic relief (food, silliness, butt of the joke) but whenever he did have focus his scenes were so important and fascinating. His character is so dynamic --brave and flawed, silly and brilliant, wrong a lot but still finds his way to what is right. He is supposed to be "regular" and the "normal" guy in the group, but for me personally he was always the most interesting and the most inspiring character because of his extraordinary resilience, bravery, and the confidence to be himself and to make others laugh in such dark circumstances.
