1964 Fairlane 500 First Start in 24 Years Part 2

Well, we left off in episode 1 with the car firing up after close to a 1/4 century hibernation but not running in tip top shape to be honest. In this episode I go about rebuilding the gummed up Holley Carburetor. However, even after fully pulling the carb apart, cleaning it and installing fresh parts... the ol girl just didn't want to function. This is not the first carb I've rebuilt and with base settings that should at least allow the car to idle by itself... there was no sign of it working. So off it came again just to make sure i wasn't losing my mind or overseeing something, and on went the old crusty Holley from the 65 Mustang... and sure enough, it ran perfect. So like i mentioned at the end of the video, even though you went through the process of rebuilding something or bought something that is "rebuilt" doesn't always mean that its going to function correctly or to 100% of its original capabilities. There's clearly something wrong with the carb that I cant see/ fix. If anyone has any ideas feel free to make a comment.
