Alec Baldwin could be recharged with involuntary manslaughter over Rust shooting

Actor Alec Baldwin could be recharged with involuntary manslaughter in relation to the fatal 2021 ‘Rust’ shooting.

Mr Baldwin’s prop gun fired a live round of ammunition on set, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza.

Similar charges against the actor were dropped earlier this year due to new facts in the case.

NBC News is reporting the case will be brought before a grand jury in November.

The charge could carry up to 18 months in prison if Mr Baldwin is convicted.
