"Gurdbazar" Azerbaijan WolfKiller
it's local name use for primitive wolfdog shepherd in territory of Azerbaijan. They were brought from Nomads as branch of Ancient watchdog , which escorted caravans of herd for thousands of years from Central Asia to Europe . Gurdbazar = Volkodav it mean WolfCrusher/ WolfKiller not wolfhound because they are not hunting dog , but an Archaic LGD shepherd lineage Nomads .
●Physical Prescription
They are large and strong animal , with varieties of colours ,
▪︎Coat : its relatively short to normal 4-8cm and harsh thick coat, the color can be different varieties the Highlander dogs present long coat not woolly .
▪︎Head: The ears and tail are usually cropped . The head is powerful , with strong jaws , the muzzle is rather short 40 -44% of the skull . Head is triangular (V )shape or (U) shape (wolf or bear head ).
▪︎Teeth : is scissor bite . The neck is broad and muscular, the body is elongated & powerful , with a short loin and a rather long, slightly sloping croup. ▪︎The limbs are of medium length and muscular. The belly is tucked up. The tail is well furred with curve or visible arch .
●Behaviour
These dog are independent animals they are doubtful with foreigners and sometimes react in aggressive way when they are in their territory or when they serve in flock . They are very agile a clear dog . They adapt fast in different situations , they can survive days without eating .They can walk for long distances in a day . They run fast .
Something must been write correctly , these dog are breed and select in nature genes of wolf flow on them like aboriginal central Asia shepherd . These Archaic shepherd classified as wolfdog shepherd because in Anatomy they are similar to wolf , many of them walk like a wolf too .
Gurbasar is nothing else just a caucasian shepherd "Original/Aboriginal/Native/Primitive/Archaic" like Gampr , like Nagazi like im referring only Archaic shepherd of these territory not mix dog not fighting dog .
Warning Archaic shepherd should not be a standard breed . We need a architect of livestock not a police dog who is waiting for Owner orders to react. We need a working dog not a pet . These type of dogs are considered as national treasure in Central Asia , in Caucasus, In Balkan too .
