Pressing Curved Squeegees to Screen Print Skateboards

In this video we show you how to make squeegees for screen printing skateboards using your own skateboard molds. We had some scrap 1/8th inch Baltic birch plywood scraps laying around so we glued and pressed them. The goal is to have squeegees in the exact shape of your own concave so that you can get the best contact when printing. We didn't want to waste veneer and also needed them to be 10" wide which meant we couldn't chop up one of our old decks we pressed and rode. This was an experiment and it totally worked. Never stop experimenting with scraps around the yard.
