Rameswaram INDIA The far away Adam's Bridge

Situated in the Gulf of Mannar, at the very tip of the Indian peninsula. The Island is separated from mainland by the Pamban channel and is about 40 km from Sri Lanka. It s the indian side of the Adam's Bridge (a chain of sandbanks) that wos a former land connection between India and Sri Lanka.
