China’s looking to ‘hurt Australia in revenge’ for Hong Kong: Bolt

Sky News host Andrew Bolt says China will stop at nothing to hurt Australia in revenge, meanwhile the US looks set to vote in a new President who is “out of his wits”.

“China, increasingly aggressive and hysterical, challenging the whole world, (while) America is led by a man who can’t think straight; there is one terrifying thought”.

It comes as the federal government has warned Australians against travelling to China as well as Hong Kong over the potential of arbitrary arrest.

China’s recently imposed Hong Kong national security laws criminalise sedition, and secession among other offences with penalties of extradition and prison time in mainland China.

“China’s being run by gangsters,” Mr Bolt said.

Australia, as a result, has joined other western nations in offering visas for fleeing Hong Kong refugees, with Prime Minister Scott Morrison unveiling a plan to create a safe haven for Hong Kongers attempting to escape the influence of China.

“China will be looking to hurt us in revenge, and it will stop at nothing,” Mr Bolt said.

“And America – our big protector – meanwhile looks set to vote in a new president who is out of his wits”.
