BEST JOCKEY IN THE WORLD? SIX FRANKIE DETTORI ROYAL ASCOT WINS

Champion jockey Frankie Dettori was crowned top jockey at Royal Ascot 2020 (Ascot Racecourse) for a seventh time, bringing his total tally of Royal Ascot winners to 73.

Dettori has drawn level with former jockey Pat Eddery, while he still has a long way to go to catch Lester Piggott on 116 Royal Ascot winners.

This was thanks to six winners across the five days, with wins in the Ribblesdale Stakes (Frankly Darling), The Gold Cup (Stradivarius), Hardwicke Stakes (Fanny Logan), Queen Mary Stakes (Campanelle), Coronation Stakes (Alpine Star) and St James's Palace Stakes (Palace Pier).
