Assassin's Creed (2016) - Reaction & Review (First time watching)

Well this movie was certainly full of questions that I didn't quite feel I ever got the full answers to, maybe it would have been a bit clearer had I actually played the games first. Regardless, it's still a reasonably entertaining generic action movie, but while I'm sure fans of the game series might want to give it a watch, I don't really feel it offers any major reasons for me to want to recommend it to any more mainstream movie lovers. Most of the action scenes do look good enough, but inbetween those I found it rather hollow and empty feeling. The ending felt a bit like it was setting things up for a sequel where maybe the intricate details of the plot would have been explained more in-depth, but given the overall quality of this movie I doubt any more will get made.

I give this movie 5 out of 10 wrist blade throat stabs.
