2025 Kia EV6: UK Price, Specs & Release Date - Everything You Need!

Kia UK has officially unveiled the pricing and specifications for the new Kia EV6, with orders now open as of September 2, 2024.

This refreshed version of Kia's pioneering electric crossover is set to continue the brand's commitment to innovation and sustainability, featuring significant upgrades in performance, range, and technology.

Model Range and Powertrains
The new Kia EV6 is available in three trims: 'Air,' 'GT-Line,' and 'GT-Line S,' each offering distinct features and configurations to suit a variety of needs.

The model also benefits from an upgraded battery pack, now boasting an 84.0kWh capacity, enhancing both range and performance across the lineup.

EV6 Air: The entry-level 'Air' variant features a single motor delivering 225bhp and 350Nm of torque to the rear wheels.

This setup allows the EV6 'Air' to achieve an impressive range of up to 361miles on a single charge.

EV6 GT-Line and GT-Line S: These trims offer both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations.
The RWD versions maintain the same power and range as the 'Air,' while the AWD variants boost performance to 320bhp and 605Nm of torque. The AWD models provide a range of up to 339 miles for the 'GT-Line' and 324 miles for the 'GT-Line S.'

Enhanced Charging and Efficiency
The new EV6 features advanced 800V charging technology, offering a peak charging performance of 258kW, an 8% improvement over its predecessor.

This allows the 84.0kWh battery to recharge from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes, with up to 343km of range gained in only 15 minutes.

Pricing and Availability
Kia EV6 Air: Priced from £45,575, exclusively available in RWD.
Kia EV6 GT-Line: Starting at £48,575 for the RWD and £52,075 for the AWD.
Kia EV6 GT-Line S: The top-tier trim begins at £53,675 for the RWD and £57,175 for the AWD.

Customers can choose from various premium color options, with deliveries expected to begin in Q3 2024. Additionally, fleet customers will benefit from a 2% Benefit-in-Kind (BIK) rate for EVs in the 2024/25 tax year, rising to 3% in 2025/26.
