Event held at Open Space venue in Philadelphia, PA on October 29, 2022. This event was the Babel 2022 Halloween open mic with the title prompt of "What Scares You?"

Babel is a poetry collective based out of the North Philadelphia area. Though our primary focus is spoken word, music and lyricism, we support the progression of the arts, not only on the Temple University campus, but throughout Philly. Art is important to us because it is necessary, both for freedom of expression and survival.

Throughout the semester, we hold free writing workshops and open mics for poets and active minds in the Philadelphia area. Each year, we hold a a showcase performance accompanied by a print zine transcript of all brand new, original work.
