Homemade Jet Engine Successful Run

This video shows the first successful run of our homemade turbojet engine. This engine was the senior design project for my two friends and I. The chamber was designed from scratch by us, and assembled by my friends uncle who owns a boiler repair company. The whole chamber is made of 304 Stainless steel, and the engine uses a Garret T3/T4 clone from eBay. The engine runs on propane and uses a diesel glow plug for ignition. This start up is a little rough because we're testing the different ways to introduce fuel for ignition. Enjoy!
