Flying a P-51C Mustang! Part 2 - Low Approach and Landing

This is the second and final video of my terrific flight in the Collings Foundation's rare, fully dual-control P-51C Mustang out of Camarillo, California in May 2009. Despite my limited piloting experience, I actually got to fly this aircraft for the majority of our 1-hour flight! Stu Eberhardt is the pilot in the front seat. We proceeded to go barrel-rolling all over the place. A rather fun recreational activity on a fine Saturday morning, don't you think? Definitely a personal dream come true for me, no doubt :). I got to "Rule the Skies" over Southern California in command of this aircraft for over 40 minutes of our 1-hour flight. Fly on!
My gosh, this aircraft is just so LOUD in the cockpit that you can hardly believe it. Absolutely skull-splitting, ha! Sorry for the bouncy video on some parts, but there was a bit of turbulence at low altitude that day. But this video really shows you what it was like in the cockpit. Have fun and FLY ON!
