Simply Red - The Air That I Breathe (The Hollies)

Official video for Simply Red's cover of "The Air That I Breathe" - a ballad written by Albert Hammond and Mike Hazlewood, initially recorded by Albert Hammond on his 1972 album It Never Rains in Southern California. The video was shot in LA. An interesting and surprising take on the song's lyrics. This version was released in 1998 and appeared on their album, Blue. The Simply Red cover version peaked at number 6 in the UK.
