How to Stop Birds from Building Nests, and Pooping around your House and Cars.

This is how I stopped birds from building nests, and pooping around our house, porch, outdoor patio furniture, car mirrors, hanging plants, pots, and wreaths. I use blue plastic grocery bags to keep birds from nesting in my ceiling fan light fixture and front door wreaths. This would also work in places like your lean-to and under your deck. The problem with building nests in our plants is: The nest gets bigger and bigger, and it crowds out the plant, and really hinders the plant's growth and health. This method uses no chemicals and won't harm or hurt the birds or the plants. How to stop birds from pooping on your car.

UPDATE. 6 weeks later: This continues to work! The bird that used to build a nest here keeps coming by. It flutters nearby for a minute and then flies away. No nest!
