Following a string of meetings in some of Europe's major capitals, Chinese president Xi Jinping is in Paris for talks with the European Union. His host, France's Emmanuel Macron, along with the EU's Jean-Claude Juncker and Germany's Angela Merkel, are trying to find a common approach to China's rapid economic expansion, which has led to agressive investment in Europe and the takeover of numerous companies by Chinese competitors.
