Quetta blast: Death toll rises to 14, says Balochistan Deputy Chief Minister

The death toll in the Chaman Phatak bl*ast has risen to 14, according to officials.
Among the martyrs are three personnel of the Frontier Corps (FC), while women and children are also included among the injured. The wounded have been shifted to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.
According to Assistant Chief Minister of Balochistan Shahid Rind, the attackers deliberately targeted innocent civilians, calling the incident a cowardly act of terr*oris*m carried out by anti-peace elements.
He said that targeting public places reflects the desperation of terr*oris*ts and stressed that the sacrifices of the martyrs will not go in vain.
Authorities added investigations into the incident are currently underway.
