DIY CNC Machine - Testing Foam Insulation Cut
Professional sign foam is expensive. So I wanted to try regular wall insulation that is pretty cheap and available at any hardware store. The stuff I used was 1" thick. It cut pretty easily but is of course very soft. Painting is a little challenging to get into the nooks and crannies of the cut letters, but the result is pretty cool. For indoor signs that will not be touched or hit with anything there are some real possibilities. Thanks for taking a look.
