3D Scan to 3D CAD using Spaceclaim

In this video we demonstrate how to build a feature based solid model from a cast part that was 3D scanned using a Creaform HandySCAN Black 3D scanner.

Spaceclaim is a very powerful reverse engineering tool that can build feature based solid models. It works differently than tradition sketch driven CAD software as you will see in this demo. We are able to CAD model this part in about 30 minutes.
