Nothing compares to authentic Peking Duck! Whenever we get the chance, we seize it, especially since it’s hard to find where we live. At Banyan Restaurant in @ConradBoraBoraNui, you can enjoy this delicacy—just remember to request it at least a day in advance.

However, I must share our experience to set the right expectations. On our first visit, despite our reservation, the duck was forgotten due to a communication mix-up. English isn’t everyone’s strong suit, which may have contributed to the confusion.

On our second attempt, we ensured the duck was properly noted, and when it finally arrived, it was delicious! Unfortunately, the overall experience was marred by slow service; we waited a long time between dishes, totaling nearly three hours for dinner. It’s clear that the restaurant could benefit from more staff to keep things running smoothly.

That said, the manager was fantastic and had a great attitude. I hope they take this feedback to heart and improve the speed of service. Here’s to better experiences in the future!
