The Founders Kept Abortion Legal: A History of Abortion in America
Guest: Geoffrey R. Stone is the Edward H. Levi Distinguished Service Professor at the University of Chicago. In 1973 he was a law clerk to Supreme Court Justice William J. Brennan when the Roe v. Wade decision was released. He is the author of the book Sex and the Constitution: Sex, Religion and Law from America’s Origins to the Twenty-First Century. His forthcoming book is called Social Media, Freedom of Speech, and the Future of our Democracy.
